Flower Baby Headbands

Materials needed:
Size 10 knitting needle (straight or circular)
Worsted Weight Yarn (any kind will do), I used Peaches & Cream and Sugar 'n Cream for mine
Silk Flower
Snap buttons
needle and thread
hot glue gun

With size 10 needle, CO 55 stitches.
Rows 1-5: Garter stitch (Knit All)
Bind Off
Stitch two ends together to make a headband.

Pick some silk flowers to go with your baby headband and clip the stems off.  Glue one end of the snap buttons to the bottom of the flower and sew the opposite end of the snap button onto the headband.  You can have multiple flowers for one band, as the flowers will be interchangeable with the snap buttons.  Pretty simple and make for a great baby gift.
Enjoy!

  4. Very cute. Not being a sewer, I have to ask, how hard is it to sew on a snap button? Is this something that can be done by hand? This is an adorable little baby gift and I could see knitting up several and gifting the mom with different flowers to go with them.

    1. It is very easy to sew on by hand. That's what I do. You will want to make sure that you have the sew-on snaps. They make some that are sew-on and some that you have to have a special tool to attach. The sew on will look something like the picture on this link: http://sewtrue.com/Store/Sew-On-Snaps-Single-Card-P2622.html
