Rose

So, I searched and searched for a knitted flower that I liked for a project I was doing, but just couldn't find something that I really liked. Finally, I found a spiral rose. Loved the look and the pattern was so simple, so I decided to make it.  When I did, the rose was tiny, not what I expected at all, so I improvised this pattern from the one I had.

1. Cast on 10 stitches
2. Knit all stitches
3.K1, yarn over, k1, yarn over, over all stitches until last stitch. Knit the last stitch
4. Knit
5. K1, YO...
6. Knit
7.K1, YO...
8. Knit
9. K1, YO...
10. Bind off.  The flower should want to wind around itself to form the flower.  If it doesn't it's very easy to just swirl the flower around itself creating the form you want.  Very simple and cute when finished.
