What's new

So, I have created two new charts for two knitting patterns, but I will have to upload them at a later time.  Recently, I have decided that I am going to make knit items for a craft fair I am attending in October. I will have my own booth with a friend of mine and we plan on having a great time while we're there.

So far I have made several baby hats, ruffle scarves, a few adult hats, and some new chapstick holder and mini purse keychains.  They are adorable.

Here's a sneak peak at what a couple of these items look like.

Sweet baby Sweater and matching hat.
Lotus Flower Hat. This hat is absolutely beautiful.

Cabled Chapeu...this was made to sell, but I chose to keep it.  I will have more like it available at the craft fair.
Keychain Chapstick Holder
Mini Keychain Purse. Jazz up any set of keys with this cute little fashion purse.

Rose

So, I searched and searched for a knitted flower that I liked for a project I was doing, but just couldn't find something that I really liked. Finally, I found a spiral rose. Loved the look and the pattern was so simple, so I decided to make it.  When I did, the rose was tiny, not what I expected at all, so I improvised this pattern from the one I had.

1. Cast on 10 stitches
2. Knit all stitches
3.K1, yarn over, k1, yarn over, over all stitches until last stitch. Knit the last stitch
4. Knit
5. K1, YO...
6. Knit
7.K1, YO...
8. Knit
9. K1, YO...
10. Bind off.  The flower should want to wind around itself to form the flower.  If it doesn't it's very easy to just swirl the flower around itself creating the form you want.  Very simple and cute when finished.
